A construction contractor in Tanzania, wanted to produce aggregates for its own projects while developing an additional sales business. As a first-time crushing plant investor, the customer needed a complete solution suited to its site and production requirements. Andamine helped establish a stationary crushing plant tailored to the customer’s needs and provided technical support throughout the project, from initial planning through successful operation.
The customer previously purchased aggregates from external suppliers for its construction projects. Investing in a crushing plant offered a way to gain greater control over material supply while creating an additional revenue stream through aggregate sales.
As a first-time investor, the customer needed help with three practical challenges:
Equipment selection Choosing crushers and screening equipment to meet production requirements
Plant layout Arranging the production line within the available site space.
Project implementation Managing installation, commissioning, and operator training without previous experience.
Our professional team visited the site in Songea to assess the geological conditions and available space. Based on the site conditions and the customer’s production requirements, we developed a stationary crusher plant with a capacity of 120 TPH.
The production line uses three crushing stages, followed by screening to separate the processed material into different size fractions.
Breaks larger pieces of incoming rock into smaller material for further processing.
Reduces the material further before it enters the third crushing stage.
Provides additional size reduction to support the required aggregate production.
Separates the crushed material into different aggregate sizes according to the screen configuration.
This arrangement distributes size reduction across three stages rather than relying on a single crusher to process the material from start to finish. The combination of crushing and screening is designed to support the production of multiple aggregate sizes for construction use and external sales.
After equipment manufacturing and shipment, Andamine’s installation engineers traveled to the project site in Tanzania to provide on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training services. The support helped the customer integrate the individual machines into a complete production line and prepare the plant for operation.
The on-site services covered three key stages:
Equipment Installation Assisting with equipment setup, assembly, and coordination of the different processing units to establish the complete crushing and screening line.
Commissioning and Adjustment Testing the installed equipment, checking operating conditions, and making necessary adjustments to prepare the production line for operation.
Operator Training Providing hands-on training for local workers to help them understand equipment operation and become familiar with routine operating procedures.
With our on-site support, the crushing plant was successfully installed, commissioned, and brought into operation, completing the transition from equipment delivery to a fully operational production line.
The operating plant supports two business activities:
This dual-purpose operation allows the customer to use its own aggregate production to meet construction demand while serving the wider market.
A suitable crushing plant needs to match the project’s raw materials, required aggregate sizes, site space, and production target. Equipment configuration and implementation support are also important when planning a complete production line. Andamine can help assess your project requirements and develop a suitable crushing and screening solution.
